About Orbis

Orbis is the largest hotel group in Poland. Through its subsidiary Orbis Transport it also runs car rental and lease business as well as local bus communication.

The Orbis Group comprises the following companies: Orbis S.A. (parent company), Hekon‑Hotele Ekonomiczne S.A., Orbis Transport sp. z o.o., Orbis Kontrakty sp. z o.o. and UAB Hekon. The activities in the core hospitality segment are conducted by the Orbis Hotel Group consisting of: Orbis S.A., Hekon-Hotele Ekonomiczne, Orbis Kontrakty and UAB Hekon, which operates the Novotel in Vilnius.

Orbis S.A. was created in 1991 when the state-owned enterprise Orbis was transformed into a company wholly owned by the State Treasury. Since November 1997 Orbis S.A. shares have been quoted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
